PINK's Favorite Charities

There are a million organizations that help women that we'd love to support. But here are our favorites. Since PINK's beginning almost four years ago, we've raised more than $40,000 (sometimes donating our own money, like when we each contributed $27 to Women for Women in place of giving each other holiday gifts) to support these worthy causes.

Girls Incorporated
Girls Incorporated is a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold. With roots dating to 1864, Girls Inc. has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent and fulfilling lives.

Dress for Success
Dress for Success Worldwide is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women located in 85 cities across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., the Netherlands and New Zealand. The professional clothing, employment retention programs and ongoing support that they provide their clients symbolize their faith in every woman's ability to be self-sufficient and successful in her career.

Go Red for Women
The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement celebrates the energy, passion and power women have to band together to wipe out heart disease and strokes. Thanks to the participation of millions of people across the country, the color red and the red dress now stand for the ability all women have to improve their heart health and live stronger, longer lives.

Women for Women International
Women for Women mobilizes women to change their lives through a holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of women in conflict and post-conflict environments.

They begin by working with women who may have lost everything in conflict and often have nowhere else to turn. Participation in their one-year program launches women on a journey from victim to survivor to active citizen. They identify services to support graduates of the program as they continue to strive for greater social, economic and political participation in their communities.
